Distribución en Colombia
Bosques de niebla hasta los páramos del flanco nor-occidental en la sierra Nevada de Santa Marta con registros en el departamento de Magdalena (Lynch & Ruiz, 1985;Ruiz et al. 1996;Acosta, 2000;Stuart et al. 2008;Rueda & Vargas, 2010) entre los 1800-3500 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
