Distribución en Colombia

Bosques subandinos de la vertiente occidental de la cordillera Occidental  en los departamentos de Antioquia (Ruiz et al. 1997; Lynch, 1998; Acosta, 2000;Páez et al.2002;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Stuart et al.  2008) Chocó (Ruiz et al. 1997; Lynch, 1998;Acosta, 2000;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Stuart et al.  2008) y Risaralda (Ruiz et al. 1997; Lynch, 1998;Acosta, 2000;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Stuart et al.  2008) entre los   1000-1900 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
