Bosques andinos y subandinos de la vertiente occidental del Macizo central colombiano con registros en el departamento de Nariño (Lynch & Burrowes, 1990; Ruiz et al. 1996; Lynch,1998 ;Acosta, 2000;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Stuart et al. 2008) entre los 1780-2600 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
