Selvas húmedas tropicales del Trapecio Amazónico (Ruiz et al. 1996) y estribaciones del macizo central colombiano en los departamentos de Amazonas (Ruiz et al. 1996;Acosta,2000;Lynch, 2005;Lynch, 2007) Putumayo (Lynch, 1980;Ruiz et al. 1996;Acosta,2000;Lynch, 2007;Betancourth & Gutiérrez , 2010.) entre los 100-400 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
