Distribución en Colombia
Bosques subandinos y andinos de la vertiente occidental de la Cordillera Oriental con registros en el departamento de Boyacá (Lynch & Ardila, 1999;Bernal & Lynch, 2008) y Santander (Lynch, 1984;Ruiz et al. 1996;Lynch & Ardila, 1999;Acosta, 2000;Gutiérrez et al. 2004;Bernal & Lynch, 2008) entre los 1720-2400 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
