Bosques andinos vertiente oriental de la Cordillera Central en el Departamento de Caldas (Lynch & Rueda, 1997;Acosta,2000;Lynch, 2004;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Stuart et al. 2008) entre los 2000-2600 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
