Bosques andinos hasta los páramos en el Macizo Central colombiano (Ruiz et al. 1996) en el Departamento de Nariño (Lynch, 1976;Lynch & Duellman, 1980;Acosta, 2000;Ardila & Acosta, 2000;Bernal & Lynch, 2008) entre los 2300-2900 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
