Bosques subandinos de la vertiente oriental de la Cordillera Central con registros en los departamentos de Antioquia (Lynch & Rueda,1998;Páez et al. 2002;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Stuart et al. 2008) y Caldas (Lynch & Rueda,1998 ;Acosta,2000;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Stuart et al. 2008) entre los 1840-2000 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
