Distribución en Colombia

Bosques subandinos y andinos de la vertiente occidental de la Cordillera Occidental en los Departamentos de Cauca (Lynch, 1998;Lynch, 1999) Risaralda (Ruiz et al. 1996;Acosta,2000;Stuart et al.2008) Valle del Cauca (Boulenger, 1908;Cochran & Goin, 1970;Lynch, 1996; Ruiz et al. 1996;Lynch, 1996;Ruiz et al. 1997;Lynch, 1998;Lynch, 1999;Acosta,2000;Castro & Vargas, 2008;Stuart et al.2008;Ospina et al. 2011) entre los 1140-2700 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
