Distribución en Colombia

Bosques andinos hasta los páramos de las dos vertientes  de la región central (Ruiz et al. 1996) de la Cordillera Oriental en los Departamentos de Cundinamarca (Peters, 1863;Stebins & Hendrickson, 1959;Cochran & Goin, 1970;Navas, 1996;Lüddecke et al. 1997;Acosta, 2000;Ardila & Acosta, 2000;Bernal & Guzman, 2000;Lüddecke et al. 2000;Lynch & Renjifo, 2001;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Salgar et al. 2009; Méndez, 2014), Santander (Pérez-Rojas et al. 2020) entre los 1750-3600 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
