Distribución en Colombia
Endémica de los Bosques andinos de la vertiente occidental de la Cordillera Oriental en los departamentos de Boyacá (Meza-Joya et al. 2019) y Santander (Lynch, 1984; Ruiz et al. 1996;Acosta,2000;Ramírez, 2004;Stuart et al. 2008;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Meza-Joya et al. 2019) entre los 1623-2300 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
