Distribución en Colombia:

Bosques andinos de la vertiente occidental de la Cordillera Oriental en el departamento de Santander (Ruiz-Carranza & Lynch, 1989; Ruiz et al. 1996; Acosta, 2000) entre los 1700-2200 metros sobre el nivel del mar (Bernal & Lynch, 2008).
